Announcing the launch my fourth album, “The Only Bar” on September 6 at Sala Rossa in Montreal. The album is a collaboration with playwright Alain Mercieca. He wrote a play called “The Only Bar” and this album is the musical incarnation of that project. Using his words and my music, I think we came up with a powerful album with lots of gutso and energy. Along for the ride are my usual partners, co-producer, mixer, engineer (and even providing a couple of guitar riffs), Bill Szawlowski, bassist Sylvain Auclair ( playing a regular bass, no Chapman stick on this one ) and drummer Daniel Grégoire.
The launch will be followed by a Canadian tour starting in Winnipeg on September 13. There will be a lot of shows this fall and winter and I invite you to come out to one of my shows and I promise you to play my heart out. See you soon.
